Según los conformistas que comentaron previamente, se ve que si se trata de que cobrar 800 mangos por estar seis horas y media sentado, entonces la labor de un médico debe ser una actitud lisa y llanamente delictiva. Después de todo: Cuánto dura una consulta y cuanto se cobra? Se ve que los muchachos no ven la relacion entre el salario y el monto de las ganancias que se ayudan a obtener. Deben ser cordobeses que ni delegados tienen!

I worked in that call center for over two years. I had to quit because I was given a psychiatric leave due to the stress I was on but Apex was forcing me to go to work anyway. They didn’t care if I had a panic attack in the middle of a call.
Some people think we just sit there and scratch our “parts” all day long but reality is far from that. We hardly had time to breathe between one angry customer and the other.
That job was a nightmare for me, something I wish no one else has to go through.

Hola Regina, soy Anna, una australiana que tradució tu artículo pa Oxfam, quisiera decirte que te apoyo totalmente y que espero que algun dia tengan ustedes las mismas derechas (apoyadas por el gobierno) que nosotros. Yo también he trabajado en un call centre pero fue mucho mejor, una experiencia buena, quizás será igual para Argentina. Un abrazo grande, Anna.

estamos todos tirados sobre el escritorio, mirando el reloj a cada rato para poder irnos, estresados por varias circunstancias, monitoreos, mucho control, cada vez más presion para llegar a las métricas, determinada cantidad de llamadas, determinado tono de voz (dificil cuando uno no ha tenido un buen dia pero no importa)

las computadoras son un desastre, los headset algunos safan, hay q bancar el dolor de cabeza, el cansancio visual (generalmente causado por el mal funcionamiento de los monitores), dolor de oidos,trabajamos en un ambiento cerrado…parecemos una concentracion de hormigas, media hora de recreo…

y si tenés que ir al baño usá tu tiempo de recreo!!!,los incentivos son una burla…entradas a cine, una bolsita de caramelos o un alfajor cuando se concreta una venta!!!!, ojo!a fin de mes también hay una platita extra para los mejores…van desde los 30$ a los 100$ maximo,la gente que te insulta, te humilla y uno por poco tiene que pedir disculpas!!!…

el cliente siempre tiene razón, es la regla en todos lados…pero este tipo de trabajo a largo plazo lo considero muy insaluble.porsupuesto q esto depende mucho de cada uno. puede haber gente q su trabajo no lo afecta para nada, a otros solo un poco y a otros se les torna insoportable.
considero q lo más importante es hacer valer nuestros derechos, no quedarnos callados, reclamar lo que nos corresponde, quejarnos, no tener miedo!!!

I’m from costa Rica and I work in sykes, metlife dental to be exact. I am still in training and I don’t know how long I will be here but I have heard that it is pretty tough , wish me luck !!

Hi – really great website you have established. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to publish a comment to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically delightful. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor for a marketing firm. I deleted norton virus since my account already expired. So I borrowed my brother’s Mcafee and installed it to my computer. I tried getting on the Internet but when I do the page connection says cannot be connected. So I checked the signal strength and it says ” very good” but it’s still not connected? I share a router that is located in my sister’s room which is like 10 ft away, and her computer is working just fine with the Internet. But I can’t get on because it says ” enter http in the address”. I try to diganose and repair it say “no problems detected”… I don’t understand what can be blocking me from the Internet. Oh ya d the firewalls are not up and I have windows vista. Can somebody help me please? Thanks! santoramaa
